A lawmaker representing Ikorudu constituency in Lagos House of Assembly, Hon Saka Sholaja Nurudeen, has asserted that defection by same legislators in the National House of Assembly to PDP and ADP does not constitute a threat to victory of All Progressive Party(APC) in Lagos and Nigeria in general.

Hon Saka Sholaja Nurudeen who spoke exclusively to the reporter in his office said ”Ikorodu residents are all memberS of APC and consequently people should expect more votes to APC than the previous election.

Speaking on defection of Senate President Bukola Saraki, Hon Saka emphasized “I am sure APC will win, People Democratic Party (PDP) was a disaster, there was economic doom, lack of infrastructure and strike everywhere. Hon Saka further explained that when Saraki defected there was no impact as all his followers defected to All Progressives Congress (APC).

Also speaking on his chances Hon Abiodun Tobun representing Epe constituency I in Lagos Assembly narrated , “On my own side at Epe, I  gave bursary awards to  university students,  provided fishing nets and outboard engines to fishermen in my Epe constituency.

And that is why I am cocksure that All Progressives Party (APC) would win in my constituency” Tobun also added that in Lagos state Governor Akinwumi Ambode has performed well by providing good road network, flyover bridges and infrastructural facilities in nooks and crannies of Lagos
